Founder, Jonathan Watts, and wife, Julia, were born and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Our boots were inspired by our young son, Barron. Like most children in Eastern North Carolina, Barron was always outside and in the water. For a four-year-old, at the time, the only boot option for a child his age was a very tall, uncomfortable, rainboot.
