A story demonstrating the loyalty of a blind and faithful old sheepdog named Buster, who always performs his duty in guarding and protecting Tilly, the youngest, most vulnerable member of the family when she becomes lost in the Australian bush. By following his nose Buster can easily lead Tilly home, but he cant make her understand what he wants. He stays with Tilly and looks after her all through the night, keeping wild dingoes away until the search party finds them in the morning Paula's first love is the Picture Book genre but she also creates stories for older children. Many of these have been published in anthologies, based around funny themes like ' Fractured Fairy Tales' and ' Tell 'Em they're Dreaming, Bedtime Ballads and Tall Tales from the Australian Bush .’ She also writes poetry for children and has had three poems published in ' The School Magazine' , one about the sea and one about rock pools. These are based on her childhood memories as she now lives far from the coast and the sea and is known kindly as a tree changer. Jenny illustrates people in a realistic style, and also does fun looser styles for younger kids. Her 20 books have been translated into languages as diverse as Finnish, Spanish and Thai. A love of anatomy underpins her characters. Her inspirations include Arthur Rackham and Lisbeth Zwerger.
