Butch's boys is a book about the 1993-1994 Luverne High School football team. Their coach was Butch Norman, a native to Luverne. He had played football at Alabama under Bear Bryant, and was a hall of fame player in the Canadian football league. The book follows the first group of young men to play for Coach Norman as the head Coach beginning with their sophomore season and following their journey through the senior season. The book gives details of the teams journey from a loosing season to an almost state championsip season.
