A California native, he resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with three adorable companions, two cats and one human. Michael Willis was born in St. Louis, MO, wandered into university and then out just in time to become an architect. He opened his own firm, got a few buildings, train stations, and water plants built, retired, and is now living the high life as an illustrator in Oakland, CA.
