Coach is the story of two men, Coach and Pappy, lifelong friends and colleagues who are heading towards the twilight of their coaching careers. While the two prepare for the upcoming season, Coach learns of a devastating health issue that threatens to derail his ability to coach. In the meantime, he is trying to repair his relationship with his son. Pappy, his best friend and top assistant, is left to manage the team and help a troubled new player to adjust to life on the team and in his new hometown. Meanwhile, a troublesome administrator looking to derail the season for his own gains, has his sights set on bringing in his own Coach. Coach and Pappy must overcome the odds of life in order to win the day.
