Barrie Bennett’s trouble starts with a recycling cabinet made from a storage container. A lot of work sanding and refinishing, but the result is stunning. One thing she does know: sooner or later she’ll see these people again. Sure enough, the next day, she finds Brenda Shaw’s body stuffed inside the cabinet. Trouble is, the woman’s partner in crime has an airtight alibi: he was at a nude bar in Key West. When Barrie’s tires are flattened, he’s again got an alibi. Captain Tina Samoset works to either shatter the alibis or find the actual person who wanted Brenda dead. Meanwhile, Barrie’s elderly neighbor has been receiving threatening letters that gradually evolve into demands for cash.
