Our story is full of magic and entrepreneurship. Back in the early 1990´s, our founder, Nubia Motta Camargo, found an opportunity in roasting at origin premium coffee beans. Back then, these premium beans were not sold locally and were reserved for the international market. It was a risky move since the local market was not used to drink good quality coffee, but a move that 30 years later, has given CAFE QUINDIO a special place in the heart of all coffee lovers. What was born as a dream, is now a reality, one in which over 400 employees work fully committed to offer you the best cup of coffee from local coffee growers roasted and packed at origin. Quindío State, from where our name comes from, is located is the center of Colombia, that´s why we call ourselves the “Coffee from the Heart of Colombia”.
