This anthology of short stories, edition 2 adds the new story of "Digger Brown of Baltinglass Town", a micro short story and "The Star Gazer" a mini novelette short story. The series of stories are available individually as well as in this anthology. All stories are written for young adult readers but will be enjoyed by all ages young and old. My philosophy in writing short stories is to present the stories of common people in everyday life. The period of the turn of the first millennium in the Celtic lands was a difficult life outside of royalty or top echelon military. The common folk created a community where each individual counted on for a contribution. My fictional characters contribute above what might be considered sufficient to sustain daily life. The characters are fictitious and any resemblance to actual persons is unintentional. I do use references to actual people such as Kings and other nobles just to give a sense of baseline in the history of the times. The places are real, I have only fictionalized the scenery for what it might have looked like in this period.
