Brendan Rodgers was back. The prolific Celtic manager signed a three-year contract in the summer of 2023, officially confirming his return for a second stint in charge at the historic club. The surprise appointment generated a mixed response among the fans, some ecstatic to see him back, others wary given his mid-season departure in 2019 for Leicester City. But a third consecutive Scottish Premiership title, and a Scottish Cup victory to end the season, ultimately won over the entire Celtic support.
