Houlihan Lockey In 2005 I was retained by a book publisher to help recover a large quantity of highly valuable books from a Debtor in Chapter 11, so that the books  could be brought to market in a timely manner.   Through the case, I explained the  process to the client so that the client could make the best business decisions to maximize ROI.   After we achieved our objective and freed the books for delivery to the market, my client urged me to consider putting together a short book on the subject of Chapter 11 for bright business people without prior experience with the subject. I believe that the book that was produced in 2006 served that purpose.   A number of lenders, accountants and business leaders have indicated that the book has been helpful for them.At least one reviewer of the book has been disappointed by the book's lack of depth.   I hope that customer was able to get a full refund from the seller where he/she purchased the book.   This book was not intended to be, and is certainly not a replacement for a well written treatise on the subject of bankruptcy law.   For lawyers looking to dive deeper into Chapter 11 I would recommend Colliers on Bankruptcy as a starting point.
