A collection of poetry by executive chef and freelance writer David Thornton. Thornton examines both his life in and away from the culinary career he has chosen including parenthood and religion. The poetry included, both insular and humorous, is heavily inspired by Billy Collins and Ted Kooser. David Thornton is a chef and freelance writer currently living in Memphis, Tennessee. He holds a BA in Speech/Theatre from Arkansas Tech University. His poetry has been published in "Nebo: A Literary Journal" and "The Best of Alt.Dot Spoken Word."
