All you are about to read from beginning to end illustrates God’s fragrant grace to each generation. My story draws upon ancestral roots of faith, courage, and dependence upon God. These roots nourish a small-town/farm girl who struggles through life’s storms. God chose her, as He chooses each of His children, to extend His love and grace in a broken world. This story bears telling because it reveals God’s undeserved favor to us through Jesus Christ. Our stories all begin somewhere, and that somewhere gives us a worldview that profoundly affects the rest of our lives. To look back and identify our worldview helps us recognize inherent flaws and bring to light what needs to change. The wisdom we gain as we grow up opens our eyes to how our beliefs line up, or not, with the truth.
