Age : This book can be read by children (11+) and adults. The idea for this book was inspired by the author's own questioning approach. The Panchatantra and Aesop's fables are timeless classics that have endured for thousands of years, carrying with them ageless wisdom. For example, while the story of ‘The Crow and the Pitcher’ teaches the important moral that creativity can help solve problems, the retold version in this book questions the effort required to drop the pebbles and considers alternate solutions more objectively. Similarly, while the story of ‘The Old Man and His Sons’ emphasizes the unquestionable moral that “unity is strength," the retelling introduces the modern construct of Game Theory (specifically the Prisoner's Dilemma) to reinforce the same message. In the case of ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper’, where the moral centers on the importance of saving, this book extends the lesson by highlighting how compounding plays a crucial role in wealth creation and preservation. About the Author: Agastya is a junior at Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai, India. He harbors a deep interest in Mathematics, along with Physics and Economics. This is his debut book. During his childhood, he extensively read folktales, including the Panchatantra and Aesop's fables, which instilled in him a desire to offer a fresh perspective as a young adult. Given his strong inclination toward Mathematics, readers may find the use of mathematical thinking to question, explore, and find solutions particularly engaging. The author hopes that while retaining the original essence of these classic tales, he can inspire a spirit of inquiry and complement it with a logical approach to problem-solving.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
