Cleo’s Mood was not a runaway success because it was not geared toward the general public. Unfortunately, the public it was geared toward did not fully show an interest. To the few who did and supported my work, I thank you with all my heart. Cleo – Still in a Mood is not really what’s expected. Yes, it’s more poetry, but more personal poetry is shared here. I sometimes did a breakdown of emotions just to expose the emotion itself, to minds that can now understand where I’m coming from and to the minds that still just don’t get it. Some writings may seem a little convoluted, but hey – that was my mood. Example, “Introspection Is”. This writing caused me to reflect on a love - an unrelenting angst - a struggle to pull together - a mental longing for an answer to a decades old question - and the need to fully understand ‘resolve’, “ you must wait” . Yes, this is ‘my personal introspection’. A few of my “personal” favorites are “ Penultimate” “You affected my heart” “Squirrel nuts & Mary Jane candy “Why?” I am hoping that my reflections and my deflections will come to a head at some point, and that it will give me license to let my emotional fears loosen and then drift away with the period at the end of each sentence, allowing me to really open up my heart. Let's see how far I get. I hope that all who read this publication will appreciate it for what it is – a slight opening, a sharing of my heart. Enjoy! Luv, C
