One of Cleopatra’s prized possessions is stolen from her tomb, and she isn't happy about it! As soon as her favored scarab is missing, modern day plagues begin to punish Egypt. A task force of exactly two people develops to find the stone, an American man and his Egyptian wife. Newlyweds and part time sleuths, Jeff and Hana start the quest for its return. They are determined nothing will stop them, not record-setting heat waves, superswarms of disease-carrying insects, or the city of Cairo tilted just a little sideways. They face the past, race into the future, while living one moment to the next as if they are numbered. Cleopatra wants her precious scarab returned, and Jeff and Hana rededicate themselves to solving the mystery of its disappearance before they get consumed by history.
