There is always a need for parents to step up and coach their children's rec teams. Girl’s lacrosse has a unique dilemma because, unlike other more traditional sports, parents who are stepping up to coach have never played the sport. In many cases, the parent volunteer has never seen the sport played and has little knowledge of the rules and skills.
