A loner for most of his life, Brad Conroy lives as a museum curator, traveling across Europe in search of ancient artifacts and dreaming of opening his own small museum. Then one day, a letter from New York City arrives, changing his life forever. Brad suddenly finds himself responsible for his two young nephews, whom he never even knew existed. He becomes entangled in a bitter custody battle for the boys with individuals who possess not-so-noble intentions.
