Christmas is a wonderful time where families can enjoy time together celebrating in many special ways. However, there are many challenges that can occur at Christmas which may result in hurts, disappointments, or even loss. In Comforts of Christmas, several people experience such challenges as they are reminded of the true reason for the season. Carrie Rachelle Johnson comes from a family who has always celebrated Christmas by focusing on Jesus. She has always loved giving gifts to others enjoying their joy and excitement. Carrie is blessed to have received the best gift which is her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Carrie spends much of her time worshiping and serving the Lord at her home church. She is very involved in several children's ministries, teaches book studies of her fantasy series The Glory Chronicles, and sings in the choir. Carrie is a fan of Christmas carols especially "O Holy Night" and "O Come, O Come Emmanuel". Carrie still writes a Christmas story for her family every year which they receive on Christmas Eve.
