Catherine Mae Blackston is missing. She is not the first. While investigating Blackston’s recent activities, FBI Agent Jeremy Winter stumbles upon a string of missing persons within state parks. Unable to convince his boss that Blackston’s disappearance is anything other than a lost hiker, Winter joins forces with a local police officer to continue the search. As the clues mount, a dark figure from Jeremy’s past emerges with an ultimatum - one that could force him out of the bureau. Afraid that his girlfriend, fellow agent Maggie Keeley, will be dragged into a high-stakes political game, he delays his decision. But as the tally of missing persons increases, Winter closes in on the unlikeliest of suspects. The bodies are out there. He just has to find them before his past catches up with him. If you are a lover of thrillers, you will definitely find yourself submerged in this story. - The Suspense Zone What a story! Grisly in places, the reader not only joins Jeremy in his determined search for truth and justice, but has to share space in the head of a seriously deranged killer. But the two fit together perfectly... - More Than a Review I read this book in two days. It was totally engrossing and hard to put down. Anyone who likes 'suspense' will enjoy this one. - Bona Fide Book Reviews Thanks for checking out  Coming of Winter , the beginning of the Jeremy Winter series. This novel represents my initial foray into the world of published books, though it's not the first book I wrote. That would be  Dead of Winter , the next book in the series. Why did I put the first novel second and the second book first? There was a reason, but danged if I can remember it now. These things happen when you get older.   Anyway, I hope you'll decide to drop a few bucks on the novel (or read it on Kindle Unlimited). Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as you can see from the reviews. If you need a nudge toward dropping that hard-earned money, I make you this solemn promise: I've got bills to pay just like you do.   Seriously, so much work has gone into this series and I'm proud to have my name on the cover. I hope you'll enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
