OMMENTARY ON THE CREED OF IMAM AT-TAHAWI The pious predecessors have placed utmost importance on the preservation of the pure Islamic ‘aqidah (creed) on practical and theoretical grounds, free from all superstition, innovation, false interpretation, and denial.
