With so many books, studies, and essays written about language, Bob Lapierre wanted to come forth with something truly original in his classification of this highly sophisticated and complex human art form. He wished to write this book in a language that a young person can understand. Yet, he wanted to forthrightly explain that language is only a symbol; it is a universal tool for communication between the “animated.” In a more abstract definition, he expressed that language is a system of forms and conventions used for communications in a community.
