There are those times in life that can't be forgotten. There are those moments that linger like a mountain mist after an evening's rain. There are those sacred principles in which we all must maintain and follow no matter the cost. There are things that we must remember lest we forget the cost of freedom. Reflecting upon that tragic time when American was torn asunder and teetering upon its own destruction, must be remembered. In the series entitled Confederate Kin, we endeavor to do so.
