Don Desroches has over 20 years of experience mediating and facilitating in the Financial Services industry, providing him the ability to understand the complexities of each individual’s finances during mediation sessions. Dana Greco and Don Desroches are the co-founders of The Mediation and Family counseling Group (www.mediationandcounselinggroup.com) and of Family Advocates Information and Resources (Fairnys.org) to help families in need due to family court and divorce laws in New York State. They are also the hosts of the radio show “New Beginnings,” which inspired the writing and research for this book. In addition to volunteering time at Fairnys.org, he volunteers at other similar non-profit organizations, Fathers and Families New York, Inc., and Families Civil Liberties union, where he serves as a family advocate. Dana Greco is an LCSW and Divorce Mediator. She holds a master's degree in clinical social work from Fordham University in New York City and a post master's certificate from the Ackerman Institute for Family and Couples, also in New York City. Dana is in private practice in Manhattan and Long Island, where she also serves as a divorce mediator with her partner, co-author, and co-founder of The Mediation and Family Counseling Group, LLC. Additionally, she provides services as an expert forensic social worker for Family and Supreme Courts in the Greater New York court system. Dana has been a specialist family therapist with New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering, a social worker for the public school system, and has held numerous workshops and forums for families in crisis.
