As in Part One of this duology, Noah and Nora, the lovers at first sight, now married and with a cottage being built in rural Ireland find their working lives in frenetic New York of the late Sixties growing ever more avaricious and divisive by the day. I feel like this level of plot and character development from talented author Don Fullington was handled with compassion and depth. Really believable and authentic and it kept me hooked to the very last page. (5 stars) Laura Clarke--Indie Book Reviewers I like reading about characters that with struggles and personal demons. I found this part two emotionally gripping and held me captive throughout. (5 stars)--Essie Harmon--Barnes & Noble Solidly-paced, riveting and complex. Great literary drama. Keeps you on pins and needles. ((4-5 stars)--Stacy Decker--Goodreads Oh wow, I loved this book. (5 stars) Claire Middleton--Goodreads This (Craving duology) really is sticking with me. I think I'll re-read it. (4-5 stars) Sam Ryan--Indie Book Reviewers This is the second book I've read from this talented author Don Fullington, and I enjoyed it as much as, if not more than, the first. We get right into the action here, and there are plenty of crazy developments and shocking twists. I thought the whole storyline and the character development to be very well done and thought out. I feel like this level of plot and characters complexity could have easily ended up badly, but instead it was handled with compassion and depth. Like the first book, the characters and the dialogue were really believable and authentic, and I appreciated the unexpected twists that really kept me hooked til the very last page. Recommend. (5 stars) Laura Clarke ~ Goodreads; Shelfari; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers I enjoyed reading this continuation of the "Craving" books. This one picks up right where the first leaves off, so they definitely need to be read in order (this is part 2). I like reading about characters who have struggles and personal demons, and the decisions they make that impact their life... especially with what Noah goes through that was hard to watch. I found it to be emotionally gripping and held my attention captive throughout. This one seemed to have more shocking twists than the first and heightened tension which I appreciated. But it was still very well written and overall a great set of books to get lost in for a while. (5 stars) Essie Harmon ~ Goodreads; Shelfari; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers Solidly- paced, riveting, and complex, "Craving-Out of Control" is exactly that...out of control. Characters in this one face crisis stage and it makes for some great literary drama that keeps you on pins and needles. A few tragic and unexpected turn of events keeps you reading late into the night with a compelling narrative tension that keeps it all moving forward smoothly. I like that it's not predictable or cliché at all. Recommended for fans of women's/lit fiction and drama. (4-5 stars) Stacy Decker ~ Goodreads; Shelfari; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers After finishing this 'duology' I almost feel like I just read 5 different books instead of just two (which really is just one long one split into two...) SO much happens, it would be impossible to sum up (I don't do that anyways). And based on just the description, I think I expected something different... I think I expected more of a romance, and while that element is definitely there, it takes a side seat to the bigger picture of the struggles of life and character transformations. I thought the conversations were great and really allowed me to connect with the characters. The ending was a bit weird for me... seemed kind of 'summed up' and rushed. But I got my emotional payoff and think this was time well spent. Looking forward to reading more from Mr. Fullington in the future. (4 stars) Jenna Brewster ~ Goodreads; Shelfari; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers Oh wow, I loved this book (both of them actually) and read the whole thing in one night! Right from the beginning we are pulled right back into Noah and Nora's world as they leave Ireland and return to the States where drama awaits.... I love these characters that Don Fullington has created and the vivid way they come to life so that we really feel their struggles and fight their battles with them. From the "real events" and places and people that he uses to decorate the background of the story, everything just feels authentic and real. And I thought the way Mr. Fullington brought all the storylines together made for a very satisfying ending. Great read. Recommend. (5 stars). Claire Middleton ~ Goodreads; Shelfari; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers I really liked this book, and honestly the more time that passes, the more I think I like it... I finished these last week (this book and part 1, 'Uprising'), but it is really sticking with me for some reason, and I think I'll re-read it in the future. I read tons and tons of li
