How to Clean?

Put the grill grate in hot water (very hot) and clean it with a nylon scrubber brush. The steam and brush will separate the food residue from the cooking grate so that it is easy to clean.

Please Notes: 

➤ Do not leave standing water in cast iron cooking grate for longer than 10-15 minutes. 

➤ Do not use stainless steel brushes or sharp knives to contact the grate to avoid damage to the grill surface.

➤ After each cleaning, be sure to immediately wipe the grate dry with a towel and evaporate any remaining moisture before storage.  

How to Maintain?

a. Leave a coating of cooking oil on the cast iron grill grate after each use, such as coconut oil, lard or butter. We recommend the use of saturated fats because they are more stable at room temperature and less susceptible to oxidation. 

b. Leave the dampers open a bit so that condensation does not collect in the grill; 

c. Put the lid back on your grill when it is not in use.
