Formerly a sniper with the Marines, American Dr. Michael O’Flynn DVM has settled into a quiet life as a wildlife veterinarian in the outback of Australia. Along the way, Michael picks up an unlikely team of human cohorts including a part Afghani and part-Aboriginal cameleer, a trio of eccentric ladies of a certain age, bikini-clad bachelorette party-goers, an elderly pyrotechnics expert, and a team of Aboriginal Sarpeye Warriors. Michael’s exciting and often funny escapades will take you on a journey through some of the most iconic and beautiful areas of Australia as well as introduce you to some of its fascinating critters. And it will remind you to never mess with Mother Nature! Roy Brewer is a retired lobbyist living in Sacramento, California. He wrote this book to memory of Winks, his wife of 54 years and his favorite Aussie, and also to highlight some of the wonders of Australia, a country he loves. All proceeds of this book will be donated to Alzheimer’s research.
