Routine Maintenance and Care -- Use 8 ounces or 1 Cup per 100 gallons of water. Apply once a month and after water changes, pond cleaning, or during a seasonal change. Disease Treatment -- Perform a salt bath by adding 16 ounces or 2 cups for every 5 gallons of warm water in an isolated bath (treat in a separate tank, container, bucket, or small pool). Add vigorous aeration to the quarantine tank and place infected fish for 5-10 minutes. A bottom-diffused aerator is best. When used in accordance with label directions, ParaSalt is safe for use with fishes, plants, birds, ducks, snails, turtles, pets, and wildlife. Do not apply treatments directly on plant leaves.
