Principle of resin softening:
Resin softening water quality is a water treatment method that uses ion exchange water treatment to make the exchangeable ions in the resin and the aqueous solution produce reversible exchange that meets the quantity rules of other substances, resulting in improved water quality without chemical changes in the structure of the exchanger. In this water treatment method, only cations are involved in the exchange reaction, called cation exchange water treatment; only anions are involved in the exchange reaction, called anion exchange water treatment; both cations and anions are involved in the exchange reaction, called cation and anion exchange water deal with. Due to the difference in the water quality of the raw water, different types of fish tanks such as fish farming, aquaculture, and coral farming have different requirements for water quality, and the softness and hardness of the water quality need to be adjusted according to actual needs.
Tips:
When the water softening resin replaces a certain amount of hardness ions such as calcium and Mg in the raw water, the regeneration effect becomes worse, and the resin regeneration method is required to re-enhance the replacement characteristics of the resin.
Resin regeneration method:
1. Take out the soft water resin and wash it with tap water first, add 100g salt to 1 kg of tap water, soak the resin in the salt solution for 30-60 minutes, until the resin returns to its original color.
2. Rinse with tap water for 5-10 minutes to remove the salt.
