Nightmares are supposed to end when you wake up. Man, the one they called Great Bear, was living a nightmare. One he couldn’t wake up from. He was trapped but didn’t know he was trapped. It was almost ironic. He, the one they called Great Bear was much like he was before. An empty vessel. There was no past or future. There was only the present. So much he had learned and so much now taken from him. But it would not last forever. Nothing does. Great Bear would return to where it all began only to find he had a new mission. Not a winter long bargain this time or a quest into forbidden lands. They had taken something, this new enemy. Something he cared for a great deal. This new enemy had taken something they should have left alone. They would pay back a debt in the only currency Great Bear knew. Blood. The Accursed Thing would see the debt was paid. He would find them no matter the road, the distance or the time. If it took forever, then forever was the fee he would pay. . He would find them or find their bones because he was Great Bear. This new enemy didn’t know it but they had made a mistake it taking from him what was not theirs to take.
