The BG Deep Sea rod 11928-175 has a slightly stiffer blank and is suitable for fishing with rubber fish and pirks, even at great depths: ideal for large cod, coalfish and halibut. In order to be able to securely attach very heavy multiplier reels, the Deep Sea models have been equipped with a DPS-H reel seat and safety screw.
