How to choose a discharge hose assembly for a water pump?

1. If your pump outlet is a Male camlock adapter,

You can directly select "camlock C&E" and use the C-type connector to connect the backwash hose to the pump.

2. If your pump outlet is an NPT male threaded connection,

You need to choose a "camlock C&E" connector combination with an A-type connector (one end is NPT female thread), rotate and screw the A-type connector onto the pump outlet (NPT male thread), and then use the C-type connector of the backwash hose to connect to the pump.

3. If your pump outlet is an NPT female threaded connection,

You need to choose a combination of "camlock C&E" connectors with an F-type connector (one end is NPT male thread), rotate and screw the F-type connector into the pump outlet (NPT female thread), and then use the C-type connector of the backwash hose to connect to the pump.

How does the connection work?

From the hose ends quick release type couplings to a threaded type connection, you need a right Adaptor  to screw onto pool’s discharge pipe end or pump outlet, such as camlock coupling type “A”, “F”.
