Very High Bond Conformable Acrylic Foam Tape features high-performance adhesive on both sides, delivering superior bonding strength and long-lasting adhesion across a wide variety of surfaces—including metal, glass, plastic, and painted finishes—making it ideal for demanding indoor and outdoor applications. Engineered to replace traditional fasteners such as rivets, spot welds, and liquid adhesives, this tape offers a clean, efficient, and permanent bonding solution without the need for drilling or mechanical assembly. Provides excellent resistance to solvents, moisture, and plasticizer migration, ensuring long-term durability and reliable performance even in harsh or chemically exposed environments. The conformable acrylic foam core adapts easily to irregular or uneven surfaces, maintaining strong contact and secure bonding even between mismatched or textured substrates. Delivers a more consistent and uniform seal on irregular or contoured surfaces, enhancing both adhesion strength and environmental resistance. Sitable for bonding sealed wood, many plastics, composites and metal. Meets UL746C. After application, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. At room temperature, approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. In some cases, bond strength can be increased and ultimate bond strength can be achieved more quickly by exposure of the bond to elevated temperatures (e.g. 150°F [66°C] for 1 hour). Basically, VHB Tape 4941 is ideal for durable, long-lasting bonds that resist stress, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
