Stainless Steel O'Shaughnessy Bend Straight-Eye Forged Ground Needle Point Uses: Salt Water Fly Patterns. Stainless Steel, O’Shaughnessy Bend, Straight Eye, Forged, Stainless Steel, Ground Needle Point. Same as Daiichi 2451 except made of stainless steel wire. Daiichi does not chemically sharpen these hooks because the process does not work favorably with this alloy. These hooks have ground needlepoints. They will not rust in salt or brackish waters.
