As we have read the history of others in the Bible who walked with God before our times—and as we have heard His voice in our spirits—this confirms our position in Him. There is no greater adventure than stepping out where He calls us. To obey is the way to see Him do marvelous things. That brings about the abundant life Jesus said He would provide. At a time in our lives when financial demands were high due having two children in college and the third approaching that time, we were blessed by His provisions. There, in that time, He announced, “We are done here.” The here He was moving us from was a business He had blessed us with and had prospered it greatly. The heart of this book is how Cathy and I navigated that way He called us to walk. We now glory in His marvelous provisions when we give it all to Him. We share here what He has done to glorify His name in the earth. Praise be to Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! (From the Prologue) Derrell and Cathy Marion are blessed to have three great children, nine fabulous grandchildren, and one terrific great grandchild as well as three bonus grandchildren. Now in their fifty-sixth year of marriage, they have proved that love always triumphs. There have been hills and valleys, but God’s love transcends all things. They rejoice in the delights He has brought to them through their love for each other and their love for Him. They have walked in the gift of pastoring for Him all of their married lives—and they testify that it’s been worth it all!
