Who hasn’t heard of the legendary vessel, the Black Crock! Other ships cower in fear as they gaze at it through their spyglasses. Its fearsome crew is known all over the Seven Seas. And their captain is Daniela, Daniela the Pirate. In this new adventure, Daniela and her mates find themselves unable to save the day… Because some other pirates beat them to it! As word of the Fearless Piranhas, a crew of intrepid pirate girls, reaches their ears, Daniela sets sail to find them! Follow her and the crew of the Black Croc in the long-awaited sequel of Daniela the Pirate, by Susanna Isern and Gómez. Long live the pirate girls! These are the most helpful pirates I have ever heard of, and I love that the theme was helping others- even when there is some friendly competition over who helps first. The story is simple and cute, and ultimately, about making new friends and sharing adventures. The illustrations are fun sketches with plenty of color and suit the story well. I also love the diversity among the pirates illustrated.---- YA and Kids book central A fun read which focuses on girls as pirates and on friendship and sharing, unlike many male-centric and battle-centric pirate books.--- Bayviews El nuevo libro de Daniela ya está aquí. ¡Vivan las chicas pirata! Versión en inglés. Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees.
