Danny and Kay Orlis were selected to be foster parents to Kent and Jill Gilbert because their own parents have not treated them properly. When Danny and Kay went to the agency to pick them up and take them to their home, Jill was scared, and Kent was defiant. Danny and Kay realized that their hands would be full. Kent gets mixed up with the wrong group of boys at school, sees an opportunity and steals some money, and ends up dealing with the consequences. He is under conviction of the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus, but he has to make a choice… what Kent wants or what Kent needs.
