This book is a personal account of Jorge Lara-Braud’s life. During our twenty-two years of marriage, I was the conservator of Jorge’s letters, interviews, sermons, and speeches. Since his death in 2008, I have endeavored to weave his own words into a tapestry that tells the story of his remarkable life. I approached his story as if he were writing his own memoir in his final years, because I believed this approach would bring him closer to you, the reader.
