Based on the real life experiences of CR Olachea in the DMZ. Lieutenant Rip Razorton values commitment and family above all else, which makes him a natural for the military. In 1983 while stationed in the Demilitarized Zone (the DMZ or Dead Man Zone) between North and South Korea, his routine assignment took a deadly turn when his buddy saw something shimmering in the distance. The dominoes start to fall as his friend is shot and Rip is forced to fight for his life against an unforeseen enemy. What happens next begins a downward spiral and changes the course of Rip's life forever. He is forced to make life-or-death choices that will determine whether he survives or fails his mission.
