About the Author Evans Lwimba is a Hearing-Impaired teacher in-charge of Special Inclusive Education Unit at Mansa Boarding Secondary School – a mainstream institution in Zambia. Having an insider's experience, he is passionate about promoting Inclusive Education ideology. Lwimba holds an MSc. in Inclusive Education from the University of Bristol, UK, which he obtained as a recipient of the Commonwealth Scholarship. He also holds a B.Ed. in Special Education and a History minor from the University of Zambia. Currently, Lwimba is pursuing his PhD in Inclusive Education at the University of Bristol – as a Commonwealth Scholar. He is a published author of several academic peer-reviewed journal articles and a book exploring themes in religion. He has also presented papers on Disability Inclusion and Social Justice at international conferences and takes pride in teaching Sign Language. Thus, Lwimba has proven well-positioned to address complex challenges, tensions and barriers faced by learners with SEND at all levels.
