DEFENDER – Strong self-defense protection/security stick or club for walkers, dog walkers, bicyclists, hikers, esp. against attacks by dogs, but also against other attackers (people or other animals); 2 feet long LEASH EXTENDER - Extend your leash(es) by two feet to give your dog(s) more roaming space when needed LEASH TANGLE AID - Lower the leashes by two feet to get out of tangles faster. Move a tangled leash away from your leg(s) to widen the opening for stepping out or over. CARRIER - Carry waste baggies, away from your hands; also use the holes in the stick to attach and carry other things if desired OTHER - Use a quick release strap (not provided) at the grip end of the stick as a wrist strap, and/or for putting the stick on your arm or belt, or for attaching it to a bicycle, fence, post or tree when needed The UTurn Stick is a 2 foot long stick long enough for defense, short enough to not touch the ground when walking. Made in USA from high quality plastic that is super strong but slightly more bendable than metal or hardwood, for slightly softer blows. The stick is a strike weapon but with the hook it can be used to resist an attacking dog by hooking the stick under the dog’s collar, harness or body part and then lifting, pushing, pulling or holding the dog, while keeping hands away from the dog’s teeth. For dog walking the stick can be used as a leash extension by hooking onto the leash hand loop or handle, for 2 more feet of roaming space when desired and safe. One can also lower the leash(es) when needed to step out of leash tangles/leg wraps in an easier way without having to bend over. To untangle the 3dog UTurn Handle or 2dog UTurn Coupler Handle when used, the user needs to unhook the stick, then turn/flip the handle inbetween the two tangled leashes one time for each tangle to untangle. The 4 small holes and 3 elliptical holes in the stick can be used to attach waste baggies, a flashlight or other items. A short elastic cord (included) tied to the handle holds up to 6 dog waste bags. Use extra caution when putting fingers in an elliptical hole, the dog(s) can always lunge suddenly. Use at your own risk. By adding a flexible strap (not included) with a quick release claspuckle onto the end of the stick a user can use it as a wrist strap for safety, hang the stick on an arm to free a hand or on a belt or bicycle, or attach it to a fence, tree or post . The stick is HDPE plastic, which is strong, tough, weatherproof and nontoxic. It is federally approved for kitchen use so is safe even if a dog chews on it. It will not break under normal use or when hitting a dog or pavement. If at all possible avoid hitting/injuring a dog. Try to scare or hold off the dog. Use force only as a last resort in selfdefense.
