The One who sings was in its space, A triune harmony, A realm was there where Love did reign in timeless Mystery. (1) Though unperceived, the void is full of Love forever True. Timeless, perfect, no past to fear nor future to inscribe. Pervading all and knowing all and potent through and through, The origin of Truth and Right, the fount of all that's due. (2) The Song of Love reveals a Heart in ways hereto unheard, And shapeless void becomes the clef for notes of Love Divine. Hovering there on surface deep, is Holy Wind of Might, To take what comes from spoken Word and order it aright. (3) A spoken word is not defined by meaning all alone, But by inflection of the voice, the breath, the spirit's choice. So Love has motive and design, and Voice brings what's believed, And Wind's arrangement orders right, perfection's goal achieved. (4) Eon-ic days of timeless time, how else can it be known? For Love is unaccountable to laws of time and space. It is the Who and not the how in Whom the Song's composed, And in the desert Word carves out what Sacred Love disposed. (5) From spoken Word and shaping Breath, came first the light and sky, Followed by terrestrial signs that made the angels gasp. Then, set in range ethereal, the sun to rule the day And moon to seasons regulate and stars to guide the way. (6) All kinds of creatures, large and small, for sea and sky alike Came next to occupy the land and teem in water's berth. Then living stock to romp about, each after its own kind. Along the ground they came in turn, to be as Love consigned. (7) And all in heaven and on earth a truth and order found. Each was unique in nature's scheme, yet webbed in symphony. For each thing made depends on each, as fixed in life's demands Ere strong or weak, each one submits to fit in Truth's commands. (8) Then came the Word that startled all angelic myriads, For what they heard gave reason for this universal work. All that's been done has been so done to make a perfect place, And what came next would cause a stir and stun celestial's race. (9) All of creation came about for this one purpose true. The mystery that Love reveals is sung with Triune Joy, "Let Us make one like unto Us, and with Our Image grace, That he may share the Love We have in this terrestrial place. (10) "Above all else We'll let him rule, in ocean, sky, and land, And every plant and tree he'll have to meet his heart's desire. We'll put in him Our awesome Love and care for every need, Protect him and rejoice in him, for this is good indeed. (11) "In Our image he, too, will love, Our Love he will embrace, We'll share Our glorious reign with him and all he'll procreate. Unlike the angels We command and even those We lost, Knowing Our Love he will respond in love with love's great cost. (12) "Yet, We'll make sure that he'll be free to choose the loving Way, For what would be the joy to Us if loved without a voice. Our joy will always be in him and for him We will care: Our Song of Love is his to sing, his heart with Ours to share." (13) They did not make man with the Word, but from created stuff, Of unshaped du
