This book examines a portable soil-blowing wind tunnel for the purpose of studying wind erosion, evaluating the abrasive damage to growing plants, and assessing the effectiveness of wind erosion controls. This tunnel is improved from previous designs, featuring the rotation of any angle between 0 and 90 degrees, and a hoisting mechanism that permits lifting and moving of the entire tunnel, thus reducing the number of people required to operate it. The author presents information on the design and performance of this portable soil-blowing wind tunnel.
