Design at an HBCU: The Morgan & AIGA Era documents the founding of the Graphic Arts Program at Morgan State University, the first HBCU to have an AIGA chapter. It highlights the work of Professor Joseph Ford, one of the first black art directors in Baltimore, and gives weight to how his legacy shaped the futures of graphic designers from Morgan.
