This book details my first and subsequent visits to Austria to enjoy the railways of this beautiful country. Some of the railway journeys in the country must be some of the most spectacular of any of the railways in Europe. In addition, to a very extensive National Rail Network the country also has a number of private railways that in many cases use a narrow gauge system.
