The following content is a compilation of sayings from both the Irish and the Scottish, which are often no longer heard in descendant families outside of the native lands, but should be. It applies to anyone, but that closeness bears down on those of Celtic descent when Gaelic is spoken, and rings echoes of our dearly departed parents and grandparents, who many of us long to hear argue, demand and insist that we do it the “correct way” in that Scots-Irish tone and fashion.
