A publication of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Together for Hope Rural Poverty Initiative in Atlanta, GA and Sowing Seeds of Hope in Marion, Alabama, this publication features the voices of seven Perry County residents who recall their experiences in Marion and Uniontown during the civil rights era of the 1960's leading up to the Selma to Montgomery marches. Susan M. Evans is a graduate of the Candler School of Theology at Emory University where she focused her studies on the History and Interpretation of Christianity.
