On a beautiful fall day in October 2010, I was riding a borrowed Honda motorcycle with my old motocross buddies. After a perfect morning trail ride in northern Ontario, an old Volvo wagon suddenly appeared just 15 feet ahead of me. The impact was brutal. I flew over the handlebars, breaking both tibias, shattering my right knee, and fracturing my wrist and neck. When I opened my eyes to see the blue sky, I knew I was alive. I faced a long recovery and instead of dwelling on the accident, I chose to look forward. Reflecting on my life and over 40 years in business, I realized the lessons I learned—resilience, adaptability, and the importance of looking ahead—were crucial in both my recovery and career. "Don't Look Back, Look Ahead" is my story of survival and hope, a testament to overcoming adversity and finding strength in the face of unimaginable challenges.
