A trip of a lifetime and a love that changes everything…Becca Colby was not expecting to fall in love while vacationing in Ireland with her mother, yet she falls hard for sexy tour guide Sean Donovan. He’s everything she never knew she wanted, but a summer fling is a complication that she really doesn’t need right now. Becca’s got a life waiting for her back home, but Sean may be just too good to resist. Her mom Jackie knows all too well how a seductive stranger can change the entire course of your life, so how can she advise her daughter to resist Sean’s charms? And besides, Jackie has a problem of her own. She needs to decide just how much she is willing to sacrifice for the man she loves.Driving on the Left celebrates the unbreakable bond between mother and daughter: two women with only one week to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives as they travel through the beautiful Irish countryside. Driving on the Left is the sequel to Jeep Tour but could also be read as a standalone. The story revolves around Jackie Sullivan and her daughter. When the mother-daughter duo sets off on a trip to beautiful landscapes of Ireland, the world looks like a dream, more so to the young Becca, who finds herself falling for the irresistible tour guide named Sean. Packed with humor, relationships, beautiful settings and the folly of love, Olmsted manages to whip up a good read for the avid readers. Serious Reading Rating 98% Official Review: Driving on the Left by Gail Ward Olmsted Book Review- 5 Stars Reviewed by Deborah Lloyd for Readers' Favorite Jackie Sullivan and only child, twenty-one-year-old daughter Rebecca, set out on a three-week venture to beautiful Ireland; husband Rob will join them when he is able to take a break from his company in Sedona, Arizona. Jackie and Becca take a week-long, cross-country tour with Nomad Tours. The tour guide is the knowledgeable, handsome, and charming Sean Donovan. A budding romance between Sean and Becca is the true adventure in Driving on the Left: Jeep Tour Too by Gail Ward Olmsted. Becca recently (almost) graduated from a Boston college, and her plans are to return to Boston for grad school. Sean hails from a troubled family, where the siblings take care of each other. His job as a tour guide is well-paid, but he is on the road the majority of the time, resulting in little time for a new love relationship. Will this relationship continue, or end? Gail Ward Olmsted's novel, Driving on the Left: Jeep Tour Too, is an engaging and enchanting story. While there is excellent individual character development, insights into relational aspects are also compelling. Becca's relationship with her parents is an excellent contrast to Sean's family situation. The long-term relationship between Jackie and Rob is also explored, as Jackie needs to make a major decision regarding Rob's wishes for their upcoming retirement years. The similarities between their marriage and Becca and Sean's new relationship are striking and thought-provoking. This novel is more than a light-hearted summer read; it is also a portrayal of the difficulties and joys in new love relationships and decades-long marriages. "Emotional and entertaining women's fiction and romance novel." Anthony Avina, author & blogger   Gail Ward Olmsted was a marketing executive and a college professor before she began writing fiction on a full-time basis. A trip to Sedona, AZ inspired her first novel Jeep Tour. Three more novels followed before Landscape of a Marriage, a biographical work of fiction featuring landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, a distant cousin of her husband's, and his wife Mary. Miranda Nights is a sequel of sorts to Miranda Writes. Both are contemporary novels with a legal twist, featuring attorney Miranda Quinn. Olmsted enjoys writing about quirky, wonderful women in search of a second chance at a happy ever after. For more information, please visit her on Facebook and at gwolmstedauthor.carrd.co
