This book simple language devoid of jargon, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to follow when writing their business plans depending on their industry. This book will teach you how to write your business plan. It also answers why you must have a business plan in the first place. The book also includes a winning business plan for entrepreneurs, which has several factors that must be considered. Various funding sources are available for an entrepreneur to tap into, but they have requirements that you must fulfill to qualify. The book includes several questions to practice as you read. In addition, business plan templates are included to help you write and practice your business plans. Two business plans versions are included, business, a traditional one and a new one-page business plan known as a lean canvas business plan. You may find either one or both valuable and can use them as business plans depending on the nature of your business. My interest in writing a book came from my own challenges starting a business without an entrepreneur’s plan, assuming that things would work out. A well-written business plan can reveal things that go a long way to help you avoid many pitfalls and challenges involved in operating a business. The biggest challenge I see in the entrepreneur classes I have taught at Alaska Pacific University and American Military University is the students’ to craft a business plan articulating their good innovative ideas. Therefore, my goal for providing thee business plans templates in the back of the book is to help students and nonstudents practice writing and crafting a decent business plan.
