About Steven Collins, Sr. FAA Part 107, FAA Part 137 Certified Remote Drone Pilot Mr. Collins, has piloted and instructed drone pilots on multiple missions, along with maintenance and test flights. Mr. Collins also assists and instructs pilots with mission planning, briefing, mission execution, ground and flight safety, as well as with briefings. Steven is responsible for the operation of the Drone fleet during all phases of ground, and flight operations. Mr. Collins has the responsibility of ensuring each unmanned drones receives ground, and flight clearance via FAA Airspace authorizations, i.e. LAANC, NOTAM, and ALOFT before each mission. Mr. Collins, plans to secure the newly proposed FAA Part 108 regulatory framework for commercial Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) Drone certification, enabling unmanned aircraft(UAS) to safely operate without the pilot directly seeing the drone, the systems will feature Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) that maneuvers UAS to prevent collisions with other aircraft by autonomously detecting potential hazards and initiating evasive action.
